Canwest Tanks And Ecological Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Water and Wastewater Tanks and Wastewater Treatment Plants including Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) wastewater treatment systems. We have been serving BC and western Canada for over 30 years and are a leader of innovation in the wastewater treatment industry.
Canwest Tanks, under the new ownership of the Eaton Family of Western Canada, focuses on best practise manufacturing and expert engineering. As a leader in the industry, Canwest applies globally recognized, proven, and innovative technology to organic processes. The 27,000 sq. ft. production plant and manufacturing facility is located in Surrey, BC.



Our products meet all governmental regulations. We partner with several distributors to improve customer service and convenience in the markets we serve.
Our mission is to provide solutions for water and wastewater tanks, and wastewater treatment systems that offer Safe Water. Canwest’s tanks and treatment systems provide outstanding performance, future-proofing from catastrophe system failure and economic advantages that are unseen in industry competitor offerings.
Unlike the general engineered systems seen in the wastewater treatment industry, Canwest Tanks offers a specific engineered solution to provide a targeted and customized approach based on mass production.

Keith Blasius
GENERAL MANAGER
Mr. Blasius is an accomplished and goal-driven professional offering over thirty years experience in retail, manufacturing, commercial real estate, executive leadership, logistics, market analysis and business development. He has a passion for identifying business inefficiencies and developing and implementing strategic plans to create opportunities and results. Mr. Blasius is looking forward to incorporating his manufacturing experience to Canwest Tanks & Ecological Systems as he oversees the organization’s operations.
His experience includes: Vice President Supply Chain, Vice President Operations, Director Corporate Service, Director Business Analysis, and Director Real Estate Development at The Jim Pattison Group owned Overwaitea Food Group, and Vice President of Saltspring Coffee.

Seyed Ebrahimi
Production Manager
Seyed Ebrahimi is an Operations and Manufacturing professional, renowned for his comprehensive expertise in Production Management, Project Coordination, and Quality Control. He brings a rich background that combines oversight of personnel and equipment for production activities with a focus on driving continuous improvement and workflow processes along with strategic leadership. Seyed has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to optimize operations, enhance productivity, and maintain the highest standards of quality across various manufacturing environments. His work experience includes roles in production management at Parissa Laboratories, ZCL Dualam, and other production enterprises.
His hands-on approach in managing personnel and workflows, coupled with his meticulous attention to maintaining equipment and facilities, has resulted in significant operational improvements and sustainable growth for the organizations he has been part of.Seyed’s commitment to excellence, combined with his proven track record in production and operations management, makes him a valuable asset to the Canwest Tanks team.

Mike Beeney
Director of Projects and
Business Development
Mike Beeney, as Director of Projects and Business Development, brings his 25+ years’ experience in industrial & municipal water treatment including design/build service, dewatering, wastewater and potable water treatment within mining, oil & gas, industrial, agricultural, food & beverage, landfill leachate, and commercial sites, across arctic/remote communities, and rural & urban settings. His expertise strengthens Canwest Tanks’ product development and design/build manufacturing team.
With a successful history in roles in sales, project management, and business development across the U.S. and Canada, his expertise strengthens our mentoring program for distributors, customers, and internal teams. Driven by a passion for clean water, he leads innovative wastewater treatment applications and contributes to R&D, continuously improving manufacturing, product development, and project advancements.
Supported by our in-house engineering and production team he will be working closely with customers, engineering consultants, contractors to support our distribution network. He will focus on building strong business relationships and driving solution-based project sales for both core products and design/build systems. Additionally, he will collaborate with customers and design partners to refine project designs and budgets. His practical knowledge and experience with conventional (Eljen septic fields, lagoons, clarifiers, DAF, MBBR) potable/wastewater treatment, landfill leachate, biological, pressure and membrane filtration manufacturing/operations, cyanide detox systems, acid rock drainage treatment, industrial dewatering and by-product/nutrient recovery from anaerobic digesters, makes for a unique set of practical skills, experience and vision.
Georges Edouard Alexis
Project Engineer
Mr. Alexis brings over 20 years’ experience and expertise as a chemical engineer in the manufacturing industry.
He obtained his B.S.Chemical Engineering at West Virginia University. As a professional engineer and strong operations leader, Mr. Alexis provides knowledge and technical support to the Canwest Tanks leadership team.
His excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and strong process control skills make him an integral member of the project management team for Canwest Tanks.
